Development Strategy

The company employs a number of about 60 workers: 40 of them are permanent employees, supported by a team of 10 consultants. These are added a variable number of workers from sub-contractors to suppliers. The company, highly familiar with and capable to manage complex building works, self-proposes as a General Contractor, one of the main players on the turn-key construction projects market. The main characteristics of a General Contractor are the traditional features of the contractor – the excellent performance skills, completing those of a company able to manage and coordinate the production process from engineering to construction, without leaving apart the basic condition of obtaining a partial or full funding.
The Company benefits from considerable experience in the private sector, focusing for the future in the areas of concessions, in Project Financing and self-promoted initiatives, with the aim of consolidating its role as a local and national company oriented towards “turn-key” projects. The objective of the development strategy is, in fact, to take part in relevant promoting initiatives and “turn-key” execution of commercial buildings, particularly in Central and Southern Italy where such structures are less common. These initiatives are not limited to their mere realization, but come to include financial and managerial environments and related to selling the property.
Manelli Impresa recently acquired, among the others, two very important major contracts, both on a national scale basis and also for boosting the Company development prospects: the executive project and works of the Lot A (Stage 1) of the Tecnopolo in Bologna, through the architectural renovation of the former Tobacco Manufacture (a prestigious professional assignement, intended to be the future home for some main research institutions and innovative hi-tech national functions) and the works on the Sibari – Cosenza Italferr S.p.A. railway line (which opens extremely positive scenarios for the development of the Company’s infrastructure department).
